Kathryn K. Bongiovanni

Kate Bongiovanni is an Associate in the Tax Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP with a focus on Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits.

Ms. Bongiovanni practices in employee benefits law, with a specific concentration in health and welfare matters, including compliance with the health care reform legislation, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA and COBRA, as well as other human resource matters.

Ms. Bongiovanni received her B.A. degree in English, cum laude, from the University of Florida. She earned her J.D. degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Ms. Bongiovanni is a member of The Florida Bar, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the American Bar Association-Taxation (Employee Benefits Committee). In addition, she is a contributing editor for the Laws and Regulations section of Employee Benefits News.
