Mr. Autry’s practice areas include employment and commercial litigation.
The Georgia Journal of Intellectual Property Law published his article, “Toward a Definition of Striking Similarity in Copyright Infringement Actions for Musical Works” in 2003. Mr. Autry was a 2003 National Winner in the Louis Jackson Writing Competition in Labor and Employment Law. His winning article, “Reasonable Accommodation Under the ADA: Are Employers Required to Interact? The Courts Say Yes, but the Law Says No,” appeared in the Chicago-Kent Law Review in 2004.
Mr. Autry received his Bachelor of Music degree, cum laude, from Samford University in 1994. Following a successful career as a professional opera singer, he earned a J.D. degree from the University of Georgia Law School in 2003, where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of Intellectual Property Law. Mr. Autry was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2003.
