SGR Represents TimberStar $1.13 Billion Deal
Timber practice attorney, Mark Pottorff, advised TimberStar on a 900,000 acre land transaction from International Paper Co. TimberStar is a new company set up to acquire, manage and harvest timber. The transaction was valued at approximately $1.13 billion and involved land that stretches across three states. The deal closed on October 30, 2006.
Other SGR attorneys involved in this transaction were David Burge and Sharon Duvall.
